A Soul's Unfulfilled Ambition

 "A soul is immortal". Here is a story about the same. It would be nice if you take a glance at it.

This story is not of a princess or a fairy, it is of a High school girl named Indrani. Indrani was a 9th grader, and the Seniors decided to hold a welcome party for the 9th graders. During the welcome party, one of Indrani's classmates noticed that Indrani was shaking her hand vigorously. He told her about it. She was surprised and excused herself to the washroom. Inside the washroom, Indrani struggled to stop her hand as it was shaking on its own. She tried to stop it using her other hand but the shaking hand caught hold of it and clasped it together. Indrani glanced at the mirror and was shocked to see the reflection in the mirror. Instead of her's, there was the reflection of a boy. Upon seeing that, she immediately fainted. The next morning, she found herself in her friend's house. Her friend told her that their classmates found her in the washroom, in an unconscious state. Indrani thanked her and went home. At noon, after she came home from school, she noticed that many unusual things were happening in her house like whenever she kept her mobile phone, it disappears and again appears in the same place after a few minutes. After a few days, Indrani had enough of this and decided to confront of these paranormal things. Then, she noticed that a sweet and relaxing music was coming from her guitar. For a moment, she was captivated by that music but snapped out of it and was scared as no was playing the guitar but still the music was playing on its own. Then a gust of wind blew from the window and a figure of a boy slowly appeared. His fingers were artistically playing the guitar as if he was a skilled musician. When he stopped, he looked up to Indrani and introduced himself as Rudra and said that he wanted a body so that he could fulfill his ambition of becoming a singer. Indrani was in shock for a few days, but gradually she calmed down and felt sorry for him. Finally, she reluctantly agreed for her body to become the host of the soul of Rudra. 

On every weekend, Rudra possesses Indrani's body, makes song covers and posts it on social media. The rest of the week, he doesn't even bother her and practices his guitar skills. Gradually, they became friends. Rudra plays soothing games in the guitar which makes Indrani feels relaxed whenever she's in a tense mood while studying, causing her to secure better marks. He made her fall in love with music and she would also sing with him. Three years passed by. Within these three years, Rudra got a lot of opportunities to sing for big music companies. By now, he became a famous singer with lots of fans. But for the outside world, this famous singer is still a female college student. Meanwhile, Indrani always wondered the cause of Rudra's death, but she never asked for it. One day, Indrani was on her way home from college when suddenly some men in black kidnapped her and took her to a hidden place. They gave her so much blows that she almost fainted. One of them called someone who they called as "Boss". The conversation was something like this: 

 Black man: Boss, we don't think that this is the right girl we're searching for. The girl who we're            searching for knows martial arts while this girl is very weak and fragile. I'm afraid that she might die if we give her furthur blows.  

Boss: Go ahead and kill her.

The men in black were about to stab Indrani with a knife when suddenly she caught hold of it and opened her eyes with a ruthless expression. She said,"How dare you harm my host?" With one kick from Rudra(he possessed Indrani again), one of the men flew and crashed into the wall and fell down, not having the strength to stand anymore. In a matter of minutes, he defeated all the men with his exceptional skill in Martial arts. Then, he went to the Boss-who is the actual villian. The conversation between Rudra and the Boss was like this:

Rudra: It's nice to meet you again..Uncle!

Boss: I knew that you are my dear nephew! Otherwise, who else would have the exact style in playing the guitar and be so skilled in martial arts after me. Of course, I haven't forgotten that priceless look in those eyes..

It turned out that Rudra's uncle killed him as Rudra was the only heir of the music company of his grandpa. They got into a very big fight but, Rudra lost in it and Indrani was almost dying. He got out of her body and didn't what to do after seeing her in this state. Suddenly, an idea came to him mind and told Indrani about it. Here is the conversation between Rudra and Indrani:

Rudra: Indrani, please, can you do one more favour this time for me? If you do me this favour, then my wish is fulfilled and I can go to the afterlife! Please, just one more time...

Indrani: ...How can I help you? Tell me!

Rudra: Thank you very much! Remember the song which we both have sung? Music is very powerful! I need the strength!

Indrani: Ok! Let's do this!

Rudra and Indrani sang together and it created the most powerul duet ever. As they sang, Rudra noticed a flow of energy in his soul and after he got enough energy, he possessed Indrani. His uncle was shocked and before her could react, Rudra gave him deadly blows until he didn't have any strength to even stand up. The police came and arrested him. The court sentenced him for the rest of his life. After all the happy moments, it's time for Rudra's soul to depart for afterlife. Indrani and Rudra were reluctant to be separated from each other. As he slowly dissipated in the air, Indrani smiled and waved goodbye to Rudra for ever though she's sad from the inside as she would never meet him again.

5 years later, Indrani who is now a 22-year-old CEO of a big music company is in the interview hall as today she visited the hall to see the new talent's capabilities. The door opens and Indrani was stunned when she saw the new talent. He was none other than Rudra who was a soul 5 years ago and now the same Rudra was standing before her in as a human, not a soul. Yes, he reincarnated! After finally understanding what happened to Rudra, Indrani smiled at him and said,"Welcome to our company, new talent!"
